Do I need an account?
No. Shloop has no consumer account. Recording, search, backup, export, and local taste summaries work without signing in.
Is my data private?
Your notes are yours. The Privacy Policy explains what is stored locally, what leaves the device, which processing is optional, and what Shloop cannot recover or control.
How do recommendations work?
From the notes stored on this device. The current release does not upload them or send a new recommendation request to Shloop's servers.
Why don't I see a suggestion yet?
Local suggestions depend on the category and positively scored records available on this device. Some record sets do not yet contain enough evidence for a useful match.
How does export work?
The app can create a password-encrypted backup or an unencrypted readable export. The backup excludes photo files; the readable export may include them. Keep passwords and exported files somewhere safe.
Does Shloop show ads or track usage?
The mobile app shows ads; this website has no ads or visitor analytics. Usage analytics and crash diagnostics are separate choices and send nothing until you save them. The Privacy Policy explains the data and controls.
Is there an age requirement?
Yes. Shloop is not directed at children. You need to meet whichever is stricter: the app store's age rating, or the legal drinking age where you live.
